Opened in its current location as Broyles Feed Store by Kelly Broyles in 1951, this family owned and operated business has been striving to meet the needs of customers for over sixty years now.
Originally a feed and seed supplier, a constantly changing economy has led to some major changes for the store. A greenhouse was added during the 1980s, leading to a greatly expanded line of roses, hanging baskets, and bedding plants. In the 1990s, what once had been an old warehouse used to store bales of hay and bags of feed became Broyles’ Emporium, a building filled with a unique array of home and garden décor and a huge selection of gift items. During the past decade, lawn and garden supplies became more varied, a toy section was added, and barrels filled with old fashioned candy began to line the walls.
Over time, much has changed, but throughout three generations of the Broyles’ family, one thing has remained constant at our store-you will always be met with the friendly service and inviting atmosphere that only a small town general store can provide.
